Spotlight: Junior Symphony Ball

For the past 53 years, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League has partnered with high school sophmores, juniors and seniors from area high schools (with supervision and assistance from their parents) to work together and plan, produce and then attend this unique Dallas tradition- The Junior Symphony Ball. The money raised from this event helps support the Cecil and Ida Green Youth Concert Series, particularly the Special Students at the Symphony program.
The theme for the 2012 Junior Symphony Ball is "Good Times * Texas Style". The event will take place on January 28th at The Palladium Ballroom-Gilley's Dallas. This great Dallas tradition will again bring together high school students from 14 plus Dallas area schools in support of this very worthwhile community cause. JSB 2012 will include the Casey Donahew Band, Texas party attire, great door prizes, awesome casino games and prizes.
JSB 2012 is having a tremendously successful year bringing in a total of $113,165 in underwriting and $120,710 in ticket sales and counting.
Congratulations to the JSB committee!
